4.0 Switch Glass

Switch Glass film is composed by two polyester layers coated by a conducive layer in the internal surfaces. Between the two polyester layers there is a liquid crystals layer scattered in a polymeric solid matrix.

• When the film is OFF the liquid crystals are not aligned and create an opaque effect , thus light can still pass through the glass
• When film is switched to ON , the liquid crystals align, turning the glass transparent This state changing takes place within milliseconds
• Switch Glass sheet is thought for indoor applications: area divisions, display cases, residential windows, rear projection screens.
