SWITCH GLASS

Revolutionary system of the electrocontrolled film technology, capable of changing its status: from visual barrier white opaque to a condition of transparency using the electrical impulse transmitted to the film.

  • When the film is not feed has a "White Opaque" effect.
  • When the film is feed get the "transparency".
  • The change of its status occurs in few milliseconds. We can adjust the transparency using a dimmer to the supply voltage.
  • The switch glass film can be manufactured in custom sizes up to a maximum format of 140 cm x 300cm


The Switch Glass can be used:

  • In film: exploiting their the extreme ductility and flexibility
  • Posted in a sandwich of transparent plates (glass, plexiglass polycarbonate etc.)
  • Laminated between two glass panels.

The Switch Glass in the upcoming designs is applied by dividing environments and giving the possibility to prevent or allow vision between contiguous spaces to simple command of a switch.

It is also a great effect if used as screen on which back projected images can dissolve as the film is dimmered, gradually reaching full status transparency with similar effects to holographic .
